The 3740 Spider Wars set is the only Mega Bloks Plasma Insects set released, it was released in 2008 as part of the Plasmaverse series but no other Insect sets were ever released. The set consists of 27 giant spiders, 3 military minifigures, 6 baby spiders and an egg sack. This set contains 240 pieces.
Description
The Spider Wars set came in a large round cylinder that contained loads of pieces. In the set were 27 giant spiders and 6 baby spiders. There was a Hummer vehicle with a working winch and opening doors as well as a large working cannon that fires missiles as well as 3 military minifigures with weapons. The scenery was made up of brick walls and a sewer facade. There are also some other decorative feature like a streetlightand a billboard and a sticker sheet complete with graffiti for the walls.
This time you have to save the city from giant radioactive spider monsters. Gather your people but beware the spiders are everywhere. You have a military Hummer, and three armed rangers.
