Spider Man 3 was a Mega Bloks theme released in 2007 to coincide with the release of the third Spiderman film. Lego had originally released the building sets for the first two movies but then lost the licence to Megabrands for the third film.

The Mega Bloks Spiderman series of sets fitted in neatly with the other Mega Bloks Marvel licenced sets that Mega Bloks had released which were more broadly based around the comic series than the films.
