Dinosaur Train is a Mega Bloks theme that was released in 2012 and is still available now. The sets were very popular in the younger age group and consequently have far fewer bricks in general than other sets. The sets range from models from the PBS Dinosaur Train TV Series such as Buddy and Shiny up to larger building sets that incorporate the Dino models in a train and railway station environment.
All the sets in the series are based around the popular PBS TV series. Dinosaur Train is an animated series created by Craig Bartlett which stars a curious young Tyrannosaurus Rex called Buddy who with his adopted Pteranodon family, takes the Dinosaur Train to meet, explore, and have adventures with all kinds of dinosaurs.
